Utterly original, scientifically accurate and occasionally R-rated
Written with the erudition, wit and vitality that characterized his academic papers, Leigh's biological songs are remembered by generations of Chicago students. After his death, the university was inundated with requests for his songbook. One student wrote,"Nowhere in the obituary did you mention his wildly original and utterly bizarre songs related to Paleobiology. The day Mrs. Maiorana brought him to class was the best for sure and I'm confident I will remember till my dying day the line about the self-pleasuring techniques of T-Rex. Please tell me that someone has recorded his performance to save for posterity. I'd love to use it as instructional for my own child one day!"
